Cynthia Perkins was a teacher at Livingston, Louisiana’s Westside Junior High School. In October of this year, the woman and her now-ex-husband Dennis were both arrested.

According to a report published in the Daily Star, a school teacher was sentenced to up to 41 years in prison after serving her kids cupcakes seasoned with her husband’s sperm. Cynthia Perkins, the schoolteacher, first claimed she was not guilty of the crime, but then shifted her plea to guilty. According to accounts, she has apparently acknowledged to previous sexual offenses.

The atrocities were perpetrated by the lady, 36, and her ex-husband Dennis Perkins, a former high-ranking SWAT officer. According to reports, the lady plead guilty to charges of child pornography production, second-degree rape, and mixing toxic materials. Both of them, though, were facing 150 felony counts.

Perkins agreed to testify against her criminal boyfriend and ex-husband, Dennis, in return for a plea agreement on Monday. The remaining 68 counts against Perkins will be dropped as part of the bargain, according to prosecutors. Perkins, who was arrested for the first time in 2019, sued for divorce, claiming that her then-husband coerced her into doing the heinous crimes.

“Today, Cynthia Perkins admitted to her crimes and plead guilty in court. She not only waived any right to appeal, and attempt to avoid conviction, but she also spared the victims from reliving her horrific crimes during this particular trial. Today’s conviction is in the best interest of our victims and justice,” Attorney General Jeff Landry was quoted saying in an official statement on Monday.

“I wish to thank Assistant Attorney General Barry Milligan and Assistant Attorney General Erica McLellan for their work in obtaining this guilty plea, and we look forward to holding Dennis Perkins accountable for his crimes in the very near future,” the statement further read.
